Forward Your Existing Number
Choose your phone type and carrier below. Calls to your current number will ring through to you — if you miss one, the auto-text fires automatically.
📱 iPhone
Open your iPhone dial pad
Open the Phone app and tap the Keypad tab.
Dial the forwarding code
Type this exactly, then tap the green call button:
*72 + YOUR CTL NUMBER
Example: *72(719)555-0142
Wait for confirmation tone
You'll hear 2 short beeps + a long tone, then silence. Forwarding is active.
To turn off forwarding later
Dial *73 and press call. That's it.
Open Settings → Phone
Go to Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding.
Toggle Call Forwarding ON
Tap the toggle to turn it green. A "Forward To" field will appear.
Enter your CTL number
Tap Forward To and type your CTL number:
Tap "Call Forwarding" to save
Tap back to confirm. You'll see the forwarding number displayed on the Call Forwarding screen.

Wait for "Forwarding Activated" message
T-Mobile will show a confirmation on screen within a few seconds.
To turn off
Dial ##21# and press call.
Go to Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding
Cricket uses the native iOS Call Forwarding screen (same as AT&T, since Cricket runs on AT&T's network).
Toggle ON → enter CTL number
Turn the toggle green, then type your CTL number in the Forward To field:
Tap back to save
The screen will show your forwarding number as confirmation.
Open the Phone app keypad
Boost runs on T-Mobile's network and uses the same forwarding code.
Dial: **21*[CTL number]#
Example: **21*17195550142# — then press call.
Wait for confirmation
You'll see "Forwarding Activated" on screen.
To turn off
Dial ##21# and press call.
Check which network you're on
Straight Talk runs on multiple networks. Check your SIM card or box — it'll say AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile.
Use the instructions for your underlying carrier
AT&T network: Use the AT&T steps above.
Verizon network: Dial *72[CTL number]
T-Mobile network: Dial **21*[CTL number]#

Call 1-877-430-2355 and ask them to enable "Unconditional Call Forwarding" to your CTL number.

Open the Phone app
Tap the dial pad icon to open the keypad.
Dial the forwarding code
*72[CTL number] — no spaces or dashes — then tap call.
Example: *721-719-555-0142
Listen for confirmation
You'll hear a stutter dial tone confirming it's active.
To turn off
Dial *73 and tap call.
Open Phone app → Settings
Tap the 3-dot menu in the top right → Settings → Calling accounts → Call forwarding.
Tap "Always forward"
Select Always forward (unconditional) and enter your CTL number:
Tap Enable / Turn On
The screen will confirm forwarding is active.

Tap the dial pad icon.
Dial the T-Mobile forwarding code
**21*1[10-digit CTL number]# then tap call.
Example: **21*17195550142#

T-Mobile will show "Forwarding Activated" on screen.
To turn off
Dial ##21# and tap call.
Open Phone app → tap the 3 dots (top right)
Go to Settings → Supplementary services → Call forwarding.
Tap "Always forward"
Tap the toggle or enter the number in the Always forward row.
Enter your CTL number and tap Update
Type your CTL number: — then tap Update or Enable.
Open the Phone app
Tap the 3-dot menu → Settings → Calls → Call forwarding.
Tap "Always forward"
Enter your CTL number: — then tap Turn on.
Confirm forwarding is active
The "Always forward" row will show your CTL number as the destination.
✓ Verify It's Working
Have a friend call your regular number. You should hear it ring as normal — and if you don't pick up, the caller will get a text back within 60 seconds from your CTL number. That confirms everything is live.
Use Your CTL Number Directly
This is the simplest option. Start giving out your CTL number as your business line. No carrier settings needed.
Update your contact info everywhere
Replace your old business number with your CTL number on:
• Google Business Profile
• Facebook / Instagram bio
• Business cards
• Your website
• Yelp, Angi, Thumbtack listings
• Email signature
Your CTL number
Calls to this number will ring your real phone (the cell you registered with us). If you miss a call, the auto-text fires automatically.
Test it
Call your CTL number from another phone. It should ring your cell. Miss the call — you should receive an auto-text from the CTL number within 60 seconds.
