Call Forwarding Setup
Keep your published business number when your provider supports forwarding unanswered calls. Text conversations use your assigned CTL service number.
Do not change your phone routing yet. New paid enrollment is paused. Customer-specific texting registration, number configuration and a successful real call test are required before activation. This page does not confirm that your account is ready.
Existing Business Number
- Use the private dashboard link issued for your account. In Connections, confirm your assigned number and the routing mode for your business. A number in a URL, example or old email is not setup verification.
- Confirm conditional / no-answer forwarding with your phone provider for your exact plan. Calls you answer should stay with you. Record the provider's steps for restoring your original routing before making changes.
- Use only the assigned, verified destination. Do not select Always forward or unconditional forwarding for this missed-call setup; those settings can divert calls before your phone rings.
- If your provider cannot support the required routing, stop and request a compatibility review. Do not substitute another carrier's codes or change your public listings.
Carrier reference pages: Verizon forwarding and T-Mobile call services. Availability, charges and cancellation steps depend on your provider and plan. These references are not proof of CTL compatibility.
Direct CTL Number
This is a separate routing mode, not a shortcut around registration. It must be configured to ring your owner phone first. Do not forward that owner phone back to CTL: that can create a call loop.
Keep your existing business listings unchanged until this mode passes the tests below. Number porting is not included in the current setup offer.
Required Call Test
After registration and routing are confirmed, test from a separate phone whose user agrees to participate. A configuration screen alone does not prove delivery.
- Answered call: the business answers normally; no missed-call text is sent.
- No text requested: let a call go unanswered, then hang up or press nothing. No text should arrive.
- Text requested: let another call go unanswered and press 1 after the offer. Verify receipt from the assigned service number.
- Two-way reply: reply with a harmless sample inquiry, then verify the response and the business's lead alert through its configured channel.
- Voicemail: choose the voicemail option and verify that the business can access the recording.
If any step fails, restore the routing using your provider's instructions and contact admin@coloradotradeleads.com. Do not treat the service as active or send private customer details in a test.
